Buna Langley Stelly, 69, of Burkeville, Texas died on Saturday, August 2, 2008 at Memorial Hermann Beaumont Baptist Hospital.
    Funeral services were held on Tuesday, August 5, 2008 at the Burkeville Church of God with burial following at Tanner Cemetery in Burkeville.
    She was born in Burkeville, Texas and had lived in Burkeville all of her life. Survivors include her husband, Daniel Stelly of Burkeville; her daughter, Tina Chiasson and her husband, Roy of Burkeville; her grandchildren, Brittany Chiasson and Chloe Taylor Chiasson and one great grandchild, Lalighla Lott.

   Reverend R. C. Pemberton, Sr. 84, funeral services were held, August 1, 2008 at Westgate Memorial Baptist Church at 6220 Westgate Drive off Dowlen Road near Gladys Ave. in Beaumont, Texas with graveside service following at Friendship Cemetery in Roganville near Jasper, TX.
   The family received friends at the graveside. A retired longtime Southern Baptist Minister, Rev. Pemberton died Tuesday, July 29, 2008 at Memorial Hermann Baptist Hospital in Beaumont.
    Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Lois Pemberton, 2 sons, one brother and four grandchildren. Memorials may be made to East Texas Baptist Encampment, RT. 2, Box 12, Newton, Texas 75966.
